Recently I have spoken to a friends cousin who also is a orthopaedic specialist operating in uk and Poland. I asked him about cll, if he offers it or has doctors who he’d recommend .He was disgusted by the words that came out my mouth, he told me off for even mentioning it and said to me I was an idiot for considering it ,even more for trying to do it abroad in Greece or if he had anyone he’d “recommend” for such a thing.
He mentioned that doctors would do anything for money which is why people are allowed to do it cosmetically. The option being there doesn’t mean it should taken, advising me to stray far away.
I completely understand the risks that come with cll but he made it out to be as if it’s more likely to make ur paralysed or dead then it being somewhat successful. The surgery is no joke but I wouldn’t even consider it it wasn’t given my circumstances.
So my question is , am I missing something from this surgery? I’ve done a good amount of research and diary reading to know what I’m getting myself into, but yet a specialist describes it 1000x worse than what I’ve seen. Any reply is really appreciated.
