Hi LL friends,

My weight is 56-57 kg/125lb, I know precice 2.2 can take this completely, so can I rest for a while after LL then walk without a wheelchair or crutches?
I appreciate if any of you can share the case like this, I never find one in this forum, which is confusing.

I would like to know this too, I am 164cm tall and I weight about 60-65KG. So the lighter you are does this mean the sooner you can walk? (Apologies I’m new to this forum if has been asked already)

Hey guys - I started my journey with precise 2.2 (large size. 75lb wb restriction) at around 130 pounds, so let me chip in my 2cs.

You will still need to use a walker during distraction because the max load on each leg is 75 pounds - if you take a step unassisted you are putting more than that on each leg so you run the risk of bending or breaking the nail.

Don’t get me wrong, being light is a huge advantage since you can get around easily with the walker and maintain leg strength which will serve you later and speed up your recovery. However, you will not be walking unassisted until at least a few months into consolidation, depending on your bone growth.

you can walk with a walker WITHOUT the risk of breaking or bending the nails .

you will walk unassisted faster than heavier patients

your best bet would be a couple weeks after LL , you can walk with a CANE .

I would seriously ask your doctor before attempting to walk with a cane - unless this poster means a few weeks after you are cleared for full weight bearing at which point that would work.
