Questions for internal femur veterans

Considering assembling a shower chair or other aids with two broken LL legs to put in the bathroom to decrease the odds of slipping or falling down

1. What's your advice? It's not that hard to assemble a shower chair, I've seen it before. But I think with two broken legs during LL, it will be difficult maybe? I can't really assemble it before the surgery. Well I guess I could if I have amazon ship it to the hotel beforehand and then paid to put it in the storage room

2. Maybe can ask the hotel staff or nurse to help me, wonder if they will refuse. I could tip them a few Euros, maybe would they do it then? What denominations of Euros should I bring? Going to Greece for leg lengthening

3. What else is good to bring to make the room more disability-friendly? There are suction cup handles but those look like a bit of a dice roll (if it comes off, pretty screwed)

Current plan: just put like 2 shower chairs in the bathroom, hopefully the hotel doesn't get annoyed. Not sure, what should I put next to the toilet to make it safer? Shower chair may not be heavy enough to rest arm on when getting on toilet.

4. What's your advice for getting on the toilet when you have g-nails in your femurs? In terms of movement/technique/what items to place around you to make it safer?

get yourself what is called a tub-transfer chair.  Safer, and more useful.  Can get them for a cheap price on Amazon.  Wish I had known about the item while I was undergoing CLL...good luck!
