Author Topic: Betz patients, how did you sign on paperwork written in German?  (Read 379 times)

If you don't know any German how did you sign the surgery consent form and other privacy related consent forms? Did they arrange for a translation and give you time to read through it? I am talking about a) privacy related consent forms during consultation b) surgery consent forms before surgery

Im 98% sure, they just translate the contract to english lol.

By German law all contracts must be in German only. So you cannot sign on a translated document. I think it would be the patient's responsibility to translate it and then sign on it. So what do international Betz patients do? Bring the documents to the hotel, google translate it and then understand it? Serious question. Serious question..

 When foreigner rent an apartment, they always sign english contracts. Not sure how its in the medical field. But dont see why it should be different tbh
