[STILL UNOFFICIAL] STRYDE, dated for September, 2023
« on: January 11, 2022, 06:24:56 AM »

So I have managed to contact one of the STRYDE designer, who is participating in the creation of the new version of STRYDE, and he have told me that Stryde is going to be released in september, 2023.
This was one of my fears and looks accurate (testing + approval phase). Of course things can turn better than current expectations (worse too, and would be more likely), but knowing this, will you wait that long?

I'm considering staged lenghetning but...yes !
P2 it's too much psychologically to me n staged lenghetning it's literally longer recovery then bilateral p2 but with in between more mobility .
Stryde with normal conditions it's a 5 months  procedure if you don't max out the nail ,before you get a normal walk .
Precice they say its just 1 month more but in reality, all diares talk about more then that .
Nonetheless thank you so much for bringing in such usefull infos !!
Please keep us updated

How did you manage to find the designer and get him to reply to you? Even LL surgeons haven't got this info.

 ::) I don't believe this.

In any case it's not a good idea to be the first few to use it. We will know after 2 years after release if all the problems are solved. So 2026 is when we would have confidence in it.

And if there are more problems it gets pulled in 2025 and everyone will need to wait until 2028 for Stryde to be redesigned again.

Wow great optimistic view lol

Regarding the news , he can have a friend/family member or simply know someone .
Surgeons might have this info but wants to keep you on hold so that you undergo this surgery with P2 or they would have half the patients .
Not everyone is in rush so if you display  few infos you might lose clients.
Maybe I'm wrong but this is how I like to think at it because I want a wb nail back so bad in order to move with this surgery;idk about u others .

I also really want a wb nail back but I'd like a bit more info about how he managed to contact this designer.

Being stuck in a wheelchair for 3 months puts most people off precise.

Was there any further updates? I know nitinail trials finish end of this year so if all goes well for them at least one nail will be ready in 2023.
