Thoughts on Dr Parihar?
« on: May 12, 2022, 04:46:59 PM »

Anyone ever done with Dr Parihar? He seems to be one of the best in asia and I am highly considering him since the cost of living in India is quite low. If you have any information about him please share :)

Does Dr. P still require a family member's consent, or has that been changed?

He's better than most of the western docs that get way more CLL diaries and certainly the best in India.

Hasn't been changed. He won't operate on you unless there's someone else who knows what you're doing and he can verify it. If you're a foreigner, that basically amounts to having an emergency contact number and a phone call with whoever you list.

I had to do a zoom call with my parents before getting admitted to the hospital and they recorded the call. In the call, he explained the complete process and risks to my parents.

Thanks! This is true for people outside of India also?

I feel Dr Parihar is the most underrated doctor. If he operated in anywhere else other than India, the amount of CLL he have will increase significantly.

It's a troll post. Someone's been writing this kinda message almost verbatim for just about every surgeon.
