7,5cm tibia has been going on me.

Hi all!
I have done limb leg lengthening surgery on tibia
Age:22
Nationality:Russian
Height before surgery:177,5 cm
Height now:185 cm
Achieved:7,5 cm

Hi all! I am new here, first time of posting.I just want to share my experience and get some experience. I have done Limb leg lengthening surgery at Azerbaijan Baku name of the Doctor is Akshin Bagirov.Well he is skilled doctor. I am satisfied from his surgery. Before I came to Baku I made up my mind about lengthening at least 7 cm on tibia. My femur is 56 cm and my tibia was 45 cm so now it is 56/52.My surgery was on 7th September and I started lengthening by 14 th September. Until now I have been through a little tough days which is in common with limb lengthening surgery. Like Ballerina standing,Bended knees like that but after I stopped lengthening it has suddenly changed the pain slowly went away. I stopped lengthening at 10th January. But I still have ballerina feet but I am working on it.If anybody has a similar story as mine please leave your message here and share your experiences. If you are new ask a questions about the surgery.

Yes, I walk with walker or crutches. I did external only with Ilizarov.

Interesting! I am Russian as well, and looking for people who completed surgery in the past.
Bagirov was one of the people I consulted with last year and he kinda gave off a very sleezy vibe. Almost more of a salesman than a doctor which is common among doctors who specialize in costly cosmetic procedures.

I have only 2 posts on this forum and both are now about Bagirov. Other memeber on this forum has also stated that Bagirov is not reputable and people should stay away. (you can check my post history) go figure.

I see. I also read that kind of stuff about Bagirov like he is worst. But I can tell he has done surgery well but post care is not that well. He kinda perform your surgery and say good bye. After surgery he told me to check with Babek if anything happens or if I have anything to ask Babek is his assistant.
Before my surgery I checked his Wikipedia and Instagram it seemed he is professional at what he does. I have talked with one guy who has done his surgery with Akshin he told me the same about post care. But for me important thing was surgery. Now I have no complaining about Akshin. now I am home all tough days are left behind.One thing I found it here is all negative. I don't care other people's opinion I check things by myself if I find it worthy then I go for it that one is count

Congratulations that you achieved your goal height. Are you able to participate in any sports?

Thank you very much! I don't know yet I hope I will be able to do any sports. now it is been 5 month since the day of my surgery. Doctor told me that I can proceed participating sports but after 2 years maybe earlier than that.
