Precise femur vs external tsf frames LATN tibia with giotikas
« on: December 28, 2021, 05:06:52 PM »

Hi guys! I’m starting to learn and understand the different methods that available for ll and I have a question, first of all is dr giotikas is recommended? It seems like the only doctors who get respect are the American doctors..
Another question is if I do the precise on my femur vs external tsf without Latn on my tibia, the healing process would be different? What’s the difference between tsf alone and tsf with nailing after?
Are their some cheaper docs than giotikas that do internal femor/ precise in Europe that are valuable?
thank u very much guys I’ll appreciate every comment and piece of knowledge that u share with me !

Internal femurs heals faster than either external or lon tibias.
TSF alone means you avoid one more invasive nailing surgery but you have to wear those frames for even up to a year sometimes.
US doctors are considered the best. Paley and the people in Baltimore are supposed to be the most experienced. Even Dr M has done a LOT of CLL cases.
Dr Kohne and Dr Peter Thaller also do internal femurs in Europe. I don't know their costs.

U think that if everything goes well I can get fully healed in 7-8 months with the frames after lengthening 6 cm I tibias? And how realistic is to lengthen 8 cm on internal femurs?
