Wants2growtaller, what ia your height?
If it is less than 1.53 then do 5-6cm on tibias with 15k euros and you'll be fine.
If you are alreqdy more than that, wear some high heels everyday (about 10cm) and you'll look completely ok.
Things are not so complicated and of course heightism exist with women but to a completely different degree and does not affect sexual relationships most of the time. So even if it exists it is by no way as harsh as it for men.

Hello BodyBuilder,

Thanks for responding to my posts. I cant speak for all women. But for me heightism has a huge negative impact on my life. It has greatly negatively impacted my personal life, and professional life. I do agree that in a lot of cases that in dating, most of the time men want short women. But I do not think that men want a really short woman. Just a woman that is shorter than them.

Short women do face heightism. But I dont feel like getting into that at the moment.  Im just grateful for the advice that you gave me.  15k. Isnt a lot of money to save up. But im more worried about the quality of surgery. If the quality of the surgery suffers then I would want to save up more.

How is your CLL journey going?

I think just because she’s not a man, it doesn’t mean she is suffering less than other men. We live different lives. We don’t know and we’ve never experienced what she has experienced.

Wants2growtaller I think if you feel gaining a few inches can make you much happier then go ahead and try to make it happen! It’s probably a nice idea to seek professional mental support before the surgery to make sure the surgery is the best option for you. I feel bad seeing you struggle with heightism and post in this forum for three years. I hope you find a way to make your life better and start to love yourself more one day! And if you feel depressed, please seek professional support. As you can see most of us can’t really help you. I can see some people are trying to help you but I understand why you feel attacked. Many people don’t realize they are doing violent communication (including myself), but it’s not their faults since non violent communication usually isn’t taught in school. We learn math, science, languages, even speech but the basic communication is often forgotten. There might be people who don’t like you or even hate you like you said, but there’re people loving you too!

Thanks for the mixed support. I do not have any mental health problems. I think its normal to want to seek out friendships or support with people who are experiencing similar things.

I am very passionate about heightism. And I do not apologize for that. And I dont see any problem for me addressing heightism towards short people.

I do not need to seek psychologist help. I think its you and other people who need help.  The thing I dont understand why are people actively going through my history, and then bringing it up that I am talking about heightism.

Like right now. Did I talk about heightism with Bodybuilder in great lengths? No I did not. I was trying to respond to a post and you gave me mixed support. You tried to compliment me, And then you told me I had mental problems for wanting short people to be treated fairly

My last post wasnt about heightism.  I was just friendly with him.

If you people dont want me to talk about heightism, then why do you guys keep bringing it up against me any chance you get, then spewing a bunch of nonsense saying I need mental health.

I dont need mental health. Im not the only person on here struggling with heightism. I dont address heightism for myself. I do it for everyone facing it.

I have registered for three years. But if you even bothered to read my history. You would see that I was not actively participate for more than one year. In fact more like almost two years I was inactive.

I decided to be somewhoat active again. But its people like you and others who keep on bringing up the fact that I talked about heightism in the past, and trying to demonize for wanting short people to be treated fairly.

No offense but all of you are sick. You are sick because you creep on my history, and dont even bother to read my posts on how I am uplifting short people.

And do your best to character assassinate me for talking about something that is important.

Do us all a favour and move on.

If you dont like someone. Move on.

But it is in poor taste and be part of a mob mentalty.

Move on if you do not have all positive things to say. I dont appreciate your backhanded support.

Again what is up with the demonization. I have been here for 3 years. But I have not been active for three years. If you even bothered to even read my posts.
All I have doing is to uplift short people. And trying to address heightism that negatively impacts short people. I think the problem is you. Why are you even creeping on my post history anyway . So you creep on my post history, you dont like me talking about heightism, so you bring it up again? It is you that has the mental health problems.

I will never apologize for me wanting short people to be treated with dignity. I gave my opinions about heightism on many levels. And Im passionate about it. Wanting everyone to have equal opportunites in regardless of their physical appearance is a thing to be celebrated. No matter how many times you guys wnat me to look like a neurotic psycho. I am not. I just care about short people being treated fairly.

But why do you keep on re hasing the same talking points. You are the ones who keep on re hasing the same arguments. Oh shes neurotic. She needs pyschology help. Oh you keep bringing it up. You are the one that keeps on bringing it up.

I was responding to Mr Body Builder as positive as I can.

Do everyone on here a favour. If you dont like someone. And if you dont have anything positive to say about someone. Just ignore them. That is it. Move on. Leave in peace.

Becaue nothing that you say or do is going to shut my mouth about talking about whatever I want. If I want to talk about heightism, asking for suport, asking people to talk. And I will do that as many times That I would like.

So you dont like me or my posts. Cool. Now move on. And engage with people you do like.

Peace and Blessings.

Heightism hardly exists for women, it is a positive attribute to be petite and short as a woman. Unless you are a literal midget or dwarf, it hardly matters. LL is not gonna affect you positively in almost anyway, save for height dysphoria. Going from 153 to 159 will make nearly no difference to how guys or people perceive you. You are only gonna suffer from decreased athleticism and more pain. What are u hoping to achieve?

Action speak louder than words. I believe most girls are unwilling to date a short guy, even a short girl. If you are 152cm would u date a 153cm guy? Doubt so. Maybe you should start by dating a short guy to prove your point. Telling society about heightism doesnt do a thing, you can't force attraction nor perceived respect from other people from your presence. Short guys usually do LL to increase perceived presence and respect from others as well as increase dating pool. Subconsciously people perceive bigger people as more dominantly, it is hard to change this.

Im really thinking that all of you guys are secretly obsessed with me at this point. Yall are using me and are projecting all your internalized self hatred on being short.

What the H*** are you talking about? This has NOTHING to do about the current topic.

Again, Im starting to think that some of y'all are using me to project your own feelings of inferiority about being short. Move on Bro.

I never thought you had mental issues for wanting people to be treated fairly. I’m sorry if I made you feel that way after reading my post. I probably used wrong words. I think it’s good to raise awareness even in this forum because we are short but it doesn’t mean we treat other short people fairly. I once read a post about someone who had LL surgery and said it’s hard for him to treat short people seriously.

Thank you very much for saying those words that means a lot to me. Im just really surprise about the amount of hate and bullying I receive from  other short males for talking about heightism. And doing my best to uplift short people.

When I first registered on this forum. That WAS my goal. To create awareness about heightism. And I use to make a lot of posts about heightism, short people related topics.  There is a lot to explore that people dont realize. Anyways I started getting a bit bullied by other people. They would put me down. Call me the B word. Call me and all kinds of horrible things.

After while for about a year and half, I just stop trying to educate about heightism, and creating awareness and was not as active on this sub.

I did come back this year. But for the most part I didnt really create topics about heightism, I participated in them. I dont come here everyday. Anyways it is this time around that i am getting a lot of bullied. They are trying their best to character assassinate me, calling me crazy, telling other people not to engage with me.

Even when I casually ask people to talk, or start talking about something else, they feel the need to call me crazy, go see a doctor, saying I repeat the same things and accuse me of spamming. Which Im not.  i just dont understand why other short people would be so bothered about someone talking about heightism and short related topics.

To be quite frank, Im really not here to advocate about heightism. I did that already. I have made tons of posts about this topic. However deep down and I think subconsciously I still talk about heightism and short related problems. And Despite what some forum members think I am trying to get away from that.

I dont want to be limited and labelled as the member who only talks about heightism. I think thats an unfair label. Because some people on here are obsessed with HGH. And thats all they talk about. Yet no one bothers them about it. Also, Im not t he only person who has discussed about heightism, and how it has negatively impacted their life. They just choose me as their target. I think the hate I am getting is their projection from internalized heightism, and misogyny.

I just want to be free to talk about other things,  not just heightism. I still have strong views about heightism, and what short people go through. And I want to have the freedom to talk about heightism when i feel like it as well as talk about not so serious topics.

And you are completely right. Not all short people treat other short people fairly. Its really sad how someone who use to be short is now looking down on other short people. That is aweful.

So now that I have explained myself. Is there something else you want to talk about not related to heightism.
