Reading through so many experiences, I find a constant worrisome picture. The patients that get their surgery with a doctor that is associate of team that offers "leg lengthening package" always get the short end of the stick and many problems. This does not matter USA, Europe, Asia, India, wherever.

It seems the team in charge of creating these packages are always after more money, and because of it they will always get in the way of a patient needing assistance or wanting to contact doctor, either by denying patient request or asking for more money because it was not included in package agreement. The doctor working with these agencies or others that act as middle person between himself and patient must only be doing it so they can be ushered in an assembly line of patients to operate on and increase profit, because most likely they are an unknown doctor and want to increase fame, or they are too busy to do one-on-one but want thr money that comes with new patient.

I am not saying profit for doctor is bad by itself because everyone needs to make money and cosmetic lengthening is not charity, bit for your own sake do not go through any doctor that has package options.

Contact doctor directly by yourself. Once you know what doctor you want, then YOU YOURSELF do the research for lodging options and assistance and then also save the money for it and work out logistics yourself. Do not go through a "guest house" associated with the doctor. Doctors are medical experts not bed and breakfast arrangers and they will not be the best option.

I think best sense is to book long term stay at hotel near hospital so you have room service for bed changes and food deliveries and then front desk can also arrange taxi pickup and drop-off.

Long story short, do all the logistics work yourself and totally avoid those package deals that say they include everything because nothing good will come from it.

I’m pretty sure that Paley offers something that you might call a package.  He doesn’t sell it himself but he has a deal with a local hotel that has a shuttle bus running to and from the Paley center and very discounted hotel rooms, I believe they were something like $50 a night.  Plus 3 months of PT on site, which iirc was part of the surgery cost.  Could be wrong, I didn’t end up going to Paley, but it sounded like a good deal to me.  I think if you consider this a package, it’s one that isn’t a scam.

Count your lucky stars you didn't choose him, then.
