Have read some post in this forum which say you should avoid LON femur because it gives nerve and muscle issues. Somebody who have done LON femur surgery with dr Halil: Do you have any nerve and muscle issues?
you gonna have pain and muscle pain regardless if your doing LON or Precise. You're stretching nerves, tendons, and muscles that in reality are not meant to be messed with. Our height is supposed to be our height. When you go in there messing with things against biology some pain will be involved. Theres no way to avoid that.
Comfort on the other hand, LON is more uncomfortable that internals. LON is clunky and limiting as you can only sleep one way which is on your back due to the fixators being attached to the sides of your legs. Also you pretty much have an open wound for the time the frames are on which causes more pain. I assume its equivalent to having a gash that won heal. Then internals like Precice, even though is painful as well gives you a better comfort because everything is tucked neatly inside your body. meaning you can sleep better and have a sense of normalcy because theres something not attached to you that you see everyday reminding you of what you have done.
I don't think It's Nerve and muscle pains for femurs with Dr. Halil..... But I'll say it's just LON in general and how it works. Any surgeon who performs LON theres really nothing they can do to hinder nerve and muscle pains and issues because its your body literally telling you stop this, it aint natural.. lol
