1 can u so 3 surgeries i know 2 is recommended i was wondering if its possible to do 3 surgeries 4 cm each surgery 2 years apart each surgery fora. Total of 12 cm

Has anybody done 3 surgeries will 3 surgeries handicap u even if u do them 3 years apart each surgery whats your opinions 1 surgery femur 2nd surgery tibia 3rd surgery femur

Heyy is this possible i know its dangerous but has anybody ever done this before pleasse let me know i know its bad yea yea yea i get it just want to know has this ever been done can somebody do 2 surgeries. The 1st surgery  4 inches on tibia and the 2nd surgery 4 inches on femur 1 year apart to get 8 inches in total i dont want to hear about proportions and all that im saying has anybody done it

Maybe you will be an exception, I am in my 50's, but I was a flexible guy (could reach 20cm below toes) - mbut still for me 3 inches on LFem. was hard to achieve (0.6mm per day overall average, 0.2 mm pder day over last cm ) and 3 years later I am still tight/sore . I think 3 inches Fem, and tib 2 inches (maybe 6cm max) are realistic high end goals.

Wouldn't this be an argument against doing 3 inches on femur. Logically you would be less tight/sore if you did 2.5 inches.

Yes, still tight and sore, I can reach a few cm past my toes,  but it took a year to even reach them again (a long way from the previous reach).
If you read my posts you will see I had some unusual complications, and factoring in my age (50's) I still think 8cm is a reasonable maximum Femur legthening - ofc this will vary with the individual, I suggest you really cant tell until you actually underake LL .
Personally I expected 8cm would be easy given my flexibility, but not so, those last few CM were really slow and painfull.

I think you have a misunderstanding about number of surgeries and lengthening. You don't perform two surgeries on the femurs unless there was a complication. You get the maximum length in one go.

The most people go through are 2 bilateral surgeries (1 for femur and 1 for tibia). 13cm (8+5) is very realistic, if you're young.

U said if your very young im 23 years old is that considered young ti get 13 cm like u said or thats not really young to u

No. You have to understand that you don't get 2 inches immediately after you perform a surgery. It takes 2 months of lengthening to get 2 inches. The nail can extend to 8cm in the case of Precise. Why would you stop at 5cm, and do another 3cm later? It's double the cost and unnecessary. The doctors will advise against this. Easier to do 8cm on the femur in one go.

23 is perfect age to perform limb lengthening. Each surgery will cost 70k USD in most western countries though. You'd need 140k in the bank to do this, unless you were in India or Turkey.

This shows that you haven’t done enough research about LL . That pain gonna educate you tho .
