Are you still able to work as a chef in the kitchen? In a professional environment? After full recovery...

It will always depend on which type of LL you go for, how much you lengthen, whether you choose femur or tibia, whether the doctor makes a mistake, how your body responds to it and how dedicated you are at doing your exercises consistently.

If you go for a modest amount of lengthening in the femurs and have a good doctor then chances should be good for recovery. I think people say it takes about 2 years for a full recovery, but you might be able to be a chef in a kitchen before then. Maybe someone who has done LL can give a more detailed answer to this.

If under 8cm for femur and 6cm tibia, with stryde you should be able to fully recover within 10-12 months. Not on a sports levels maybe, but for work and day to day life

Even before surgery, standing 8-10 hours a day continuously is pretty impossible for me haha.
