How to measure your height correctly?
« on: April 22, 2021, 09:48:25 PM »

I got once measured by a Dr with these height measure devices that you put manually on the head and was 185. Then I measured myself with a book on my head got 184,5. At the airport I used an electronic device for height and weight and it said 183. So what is my height?

I think the feet and inches system works better to state one's height because height itself fluctuates in the cm area throughout the day. If you are young it can be 2cm difference from morning to evening.
For measuring, you stand at a wall straight and stretched out as max as possible and look slightly down so your top of the head is at it's highest point.

This time I used a hairspray can and put that on my head standing straight in front of a wall. It's 185
