Femurs with Dr. Alejandro Monegal next year?
« on: April 15, 2018, 05:29:07 PM »

Hello guys

Have been in this forum for about two years. I’ve been reading lots of comments experiences diaries and suggestions. so, I’ve decided to contact Dr. Monegal via WhatsApp and he replied me and booking a consultation in July then surgery possibly Feb 2019

I am so excited to finally take step to do this since for me having a short stature has been so psychologically hurting
I am deciding to do femurs (Fitbone with Alejandro )
although I also will do the tibias (external and still undecided which doctor to do it with) when healed and recovered
I was wondering if any of you is thinking to go to dr Monegal next year and do this together

I am fluent in Spanish and English so can be cool to have some one to experience this long journey with

Stats

Late 20’s
165cm
Atlantic strong legs

Willing to length 7cm femurs
4-5 cm tibias

Will edit my stats and information as soon as I get the right measurements

Be happy to hear from Dr. Monegal patients who are undergoing with the surgery recovery or those who have recovered
Thx Guys and hope to hear from you soon

Hi, I'm planning to do fitbone with him as well for femurs, I already contacted him by mail, waiting for his response. Can I ask you why did u want to do it next year, or is it the earliest possible date?

Hi Zakika
Awesome ! Dr. Monegal replied to me and then we talked via WhatsApp
Will book for consultation for July then go from there

I am not sure if I can do it before January 2019 because I want to save more money to make sure I’ll be very comfortable the months that I’ll be living in Barcelona for recovery
When do you plan to do have done ?
Are you thinking to do one or two segments?

Will be good to do it same times to share living cost and save some money :)

Hey, I'm monitoring the options for now, already contacted couple of others (Birkholtz, Pili, Guichet, Paley, Lee, Betz), and would be most comfortable to do it in Europe, but safety comes first. Timing would be necessary for my, because I'm running my PhD, so I have to skip 1-2 semesters for sure, and still have to run my research activity. To be honest I would do it as soon as possible if all the circumstances fit, of course it would be awesome to do it together (healing will be superior for sure).
About me:
-skinny muscular (I'll have to gain some weight before, and do stretching already), 171 cm, my proportions are quite optimal I think, didn't make precise measures yet, aiming for around 180 (178-181), but I solely plan femur lengthening if possible for safety, and timing as well. Did you start to prepare for it physically (and mentally  :D)?

Very nice stats, zakika

I have read the other surgeons as well, they are good options, although I will definitely do it with Dr. Monegal

I am a bit worried about timing too. Very busy with life, although I’d be patient with time when procedures are done for a good recovery and positive results
I am a very athletic muscular guy
Have trained for ten years
Have a good flexibility
My legs are the strongest trained muscle in my body so I do believe that I’m physically ready
Psychologically I am working on it
I have the wish so much to do this that I’m sure mind will handle anything like this

Wanna message me privately? I wanna discuss some topics with you :)
