Hey guys, so there are multiple studies that prove intermittent fasting increases testosterone and healing:
* https://ideas.ted.com/the-science-behind-intermittent-fasting-and-how-you-can-make-it-work-for-you/
*https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/what-you-eat-or-dont-eat/202012/the-science-intermittent-fasting
*https://wellbalancedmillennial.com/2020/04/the-science-behind-intermittent-fasting-and-7-ways-to-make-it-easier/

My question is, if one was to have mild intermittent fasting days, (16 hour fast, 8 hour eating window), he could still get all his calories in; would this aid in the distraction phase due to less pain experienced whilst fasted, stronger bone consolidation and pain resistance from increase testosterone?

Unless you’re fasting for religious reason I doubt this would be a good idea. You’ll need to eat with the meds you take in the beginning, and you could always just take creatine or testosterone supplements instead of fasting to boost that instead. Even if it was physically beneficial I’m sure mentally this is already a stressful procedure and this would just add weight
