To people that had both femurs lengthened (1 YEAR AFTER SURGERY / AFTER YOUR LEG MUSCLES ARE FULLY RECOVERED):
Are your thighs now more narrow or the same as before the surgery?  (I'm talking about the circumference / width of each thigh).

Thank you,
Hercules

They seem to be thinner more than 7 years down the road. I haven’t done any major weight training though so idk if that would make a big difference bulking them up. No clue on the circumference before and after LOL.

  • CLL is a life changing game. Play it wisely.

Surgery was done in May 2020 with Dr. Paley on femurs, and got confirmed by Dr.Paley last month that my femurs were fully healed and ready for removal surgery. That set me in a perfect position to answer this question.  :)

Before the surgery, my thighs circumference was 20 inches. and in August 2020 right after I finished lengthening, my thighs circumference was 17 inches. Today, 13 months after the surgery, my thighs circumference is 18 inches.

Notes:
1. I am an Asian, female. And I am not going to gyms or doing any sports. So if you are a male, and like to go to gyms or do sports, you might be able to get your thighs as thick as before surgery.
2. I was able to walk during the whole lengthening phase. So my thighs became narrow was all because of LL, not lack of movement.
3. I did 7 cm on my femurs.

Hey,

Im male 4 months post surgery and did 5 cm with stryde.
I did not measure it, but my thighs seem the same as before only longer. I did always wear skinny jeans and they are as tight as before.

I sent some of you private messages, but feel free to respond here.  For those of you who indicated your thighs look more narrow after lengthening your femurs: If you look in a mirror, do your thighs appear narrow from all angles, or only the front / only the side?
In other words, maybe stretching the thigh muscles out through LL only makes the leg narrow in certain ways, but not others?

Best,
Hercules

My thigh (8 cm Femur LL) is same circumference as before  (5 7 to 5 10.5), but appears thinner because it is longer.

Was it worth it in your opinion?
