Numbness?
« on: October 14, 2020, 01:40:15 AM »

Hey guys has anyone else had numbness in their leg? My left leg is very numb from my knee down to my foot and it’s starting to hurt. I’m at 42mm.

Has anyone else had this issue and how did help it to heal?

I had numbness from my knee down to my foot. I experienced sometime sharp pain and tingling around the area.  The doctor gave me prescription for Gabapentin. Please talk to your doctor and it may be nerve pain

 How is your numbness now?
Which method you did?
May be your nerve stretching, tingling and numbness happens due to nerve stretch. You should inform your doctor.

Numbness should be IMMEDIATELY assessed by the surgeon.

The first step is to SLOW DOWN lengthening.

Nerve territory should be identified and appropriate nerve release should be done (if possible) . Before more damage is done.

It is an URGENCY

its quite strange some surgeons are chilled out about these things and some are like 'this is urgent and serious'. dr Mahboubian and dr Debiparshad dont even mind if you leave the country and go out after 2 weeks. how they expect to deal with such emergency situation I have 0 clues

Better to be safe than sorry

I would rather take the cautious approach like Dr. Assayag than the relaxed approach that other surgeons take

Collagen supplements have not been shown to improve bone formation.

calcium vitamin D supplements and a healthy balanced diet will :)

I hope this helps

The doctor said numbness is normal. I'm at 34mm, haven't got numbness yet.
