Should I do tibia or Femur? Is my torso short?
« on: May 13, 2020, 01:40:00 PM »

Hello everyone!

I would like to have your opinion about my proportions and what you think is best for me: tibia or femur?

Here my measurements:

Height: 171.5cm
Wingspan: 177cm
Sitting height: 93cm

Here the mockup: https://imgur.com/8rdjjAL

- On the left: +6cm on tibias
- Center: original picture
- On the right: +6.5 on femurs

I have 3 specific questions:

1) Which result is more aesthetically pleasing? +6cm tibas or +6.5 femur?
2) Is my torso length fine to get good proportions with a 6/7cm LL?
3) Are my arms long enough? Or maybe with a +6/7cm I will risk the "t-rex effect"?
4) I am more oriented on the choice of the femurs. Considering that in the mockup I added +6.5 cm, what do you think would be the maximum lengthening that I could achieve for an aesthetically pleasing result? Would be +8 too much?

Thanks!

Tibias look better. Your torso isn't short and arms look fine dw.

Femur is better. Less risky procedure and in first picture your tibias look little bit too long. At last picture proportions are great.

I'm 165cm. Do you guys think 6cm on femurs and 4cm on tibia will throw off portions or make torso look short?

Is visuality important? or health?

If health matters: The femur is always healthier.

Who will notice the lower leg or the upper leg with the dress on it?

Thanks for your opinions!

Actually, as said, I'm more inclined to do femurs. Mainly because it's less risky and (with Stryde) faster to come back to a normal life.
With femurs I can also reach an interesting amount of increase (+6.5cm) relatively safely and, potentially, recover full athleticism. I think I'll be definitely happy with 178cm final height.

My only concern is: will my body shape will look weird after LL?
I think I've short legs now, but really can't figure out which is shorter between shins and femurs. Moreover I'm not sure my torso and arms are long enough to support LL without generating a disproportion.
That's why I'm asking you.

This thread is just to have a confirm that I'm making the right choice in terms of aesthetics in case I choose +6.5cm lengthening in femurs.

P.S. it seems that the pants I was wearing in the mockup makes my femurs look longer. With "boxers" which I usually wear, they look definitely shorter.
