Probably different packages. Whether you opt for accommodation or not, whether you want food delivered to you or not my best guess.

Also completely unrelated ,why pay so much for external tibias? Go to Russia or come to India. Don't pay that much for external tibias. Or even go to buldu I guess

It's 19k if there's no achilles tendon lengthening and 25k if you need achilles tendon lengthening.

I use this email: info@drpiliortopedico.it

I'm considering him along with Dr. Solomin and Dr. Catagni.

Thanks! (I'll check if I used it already or if it was through the site).
I am too considering Dr. Solomin (and 2 or 3 more). Dr. Catagni maybe not because altough it's only an extra 1.000 Euros his age worries me a bit. (And Pili has worked more than 20 years with him, I think he offers the same expertise).

I am a bit worried Dr. Catagni might retire before I can schedule with him. However, my main concern was that Dr. Catagni told me it'd be 16 months post surgery before I can squat and deadlift again with 7.5 cm of lengthening using external tibias. Dr. Pili, oddly enough, told me 6-9 months! This is a massive difference, and I'm unsure of why this disparity in estimates exists.

Price is similar, maybe for Guichet nail is better Guichet himself. I suppose only Guichet and Giotikas use GNail and I don't feel confident with Giotikas.
My second "journey" of LL will be femurs, and Guichet is one of my options if new Stryde or alternative don't seem to assure enough safety.

It seems there is a confusion between date of surgery and date of "full" consolidation/fixator removal?
