CareCredit - Dr. Mahboubian
« on: January 01, 2020, 09:05:27 PM »

Hello all,

Has anyone used CareCredit that Dr. Mahboubian mentions on his website to help finance their surgery? If so, what was the payment plan and approximate interest rate that they offered?

Hi Canada,

I did not use Care Credit; however, I am pretty sure that they offer a plan that is interest-free for 2 years and then the interest rate shoots up quite a bit based on your credit rating after 2 years.  It's best to pay it off during the initial 2 years; since it is likely the interest rate will apply over the entire payment schedule if not paid off in 2 years.

Another option is a personal loan from your bank.  I fully advocate getting a loan to cover this procedure; so long that you're going with the Stryde technology and a reputable Doc. 3 inches of new height changes your life for the better.

Good luck!

@InFullStryde Thank you for the info. I agree with you on that. The sooner the better!

@Montreal172 I live near the GTA. I am also considering Dr. Marie in Quebec but I messaged her office a few weeks ago and have yet to receive a response. Maybe her offices are still closed for the holidays.

Can already tell you Marie is anywhere between 75k to 85k. CDN
I think it best to do it with her, since you won't have to change countries.
