I am in lengthening phase in LON i lengthened 3cm so far, looking at my tibia and femur now they look proportionate to me, considering i am 160 it be shame to stop at 3cm so thought fine let's do 4cm but if i push for one more considering its just one, am scared of looking disproportionate in tibia considering i am 160cm pre-surgery am afraid that 5cm be enough of height to make it obvious that my tibia are long than rest.

Appreciate your opinions

Hi nomad
Good job!  I think your proportion looks fine at least until now.  It is hard to think it will be much worse after another 2 cm.
I also think that proportion is not that important or critical.  We came here to get rid of height dysphoria.  Don't push yourself to proportion obsession.  Do 5cm at least then think about proportion at that time.
Good luck!

But that's not LON.
And you can do 5 and do femur years after if you want.

Thanks Ghostfish I am thinking to go 5cm as am just 160cm at start, but somhow your mind does f*up with proportions and all that

Dunno what you mean by its not LON there are different kind of frames if you are wondering about it rest i won't be increasing my height further with another surgery, cause then it be too obvious for my family and I don't want that

I like the work of your doctor, looks clean and professional. This is making me consider him for my surgery.
As for proportions, you went under the knife to become taller, Height>Proportions. I am pretty sure any lengthening less than 7 cm won't look bad no matter what your original proportions were.

Thanks Cloudo and Dung, I uploaded xray in my dairy I think i would have reached some 4.7 to 4.8cm in height already I stopped lengthening as of now, I might lengthen some 1 or 2mm before frame removal(next week), wasn't an easy journey but looking back I don't regret it and it was needed would have blamed myself if I hadn't gone through this. I started taking more calories and I do workout(upper body) don't know if it helped my calves are better then they used to be(in mid lengthening phase) or may be its may be slight inflammation, in proportions it doesn't look as bad

As a former fellow 1,60m guy I encourage you to lengthen 4,9cm - 5cm if your Achilles tendons allow it. 2mm more will not make a difference proportion wise. And in frames or right after frame removal your tibias might look weird, thin and long but with time your calves will get a bit bigger again and your tibias will look normal. In the end you know that you have tried the safe maximum and won't regret it. I had stopped at 4,3cm (full externals) and months later when it was still possible because of my slow consolidation I tried to lengthen up to 5cm. I haven't measured myself but it can be possible that with my second surgery (LATN) I might have lost a few mm again.

Thanks for motivating words Great321, I am going as you did,  am lengthening my left leg now to catch up right, once am done with it, will lengthen some 1 or 2mm for both, so I be 5cm, it doesn't look as bad now, retrospect I use to wear boots and my tibia use to look small now it should look some better

thought i should update this thread too, I stopped at 5.51cm as per xray, which should be around 5cm in real height even if i consider imperfection in xray measurements, I am happy with what I achieved feels my tibia is still in proportions.
