"well just go back to your doctor and pay the 10-15k or see if your insurance will help at all"

So let's say you're American and your insurance doesn't help so much.

1. Should you go back to the a leg lengthening surgeon specifically or can any orthopedic surgeon remove them easily?

2. What are your thoughts on going abroad to get two or four rods removed all at once?
Ex: Fly all the way to Greece to see Dr. Giotikas to get the rods removed? Or is he significantly worse at this or is the flight cost/rent not worth it?

3. Is it safe to get all four rods removed in one session?

This is a question I actually am wondering about myself, depending on how giotikas styde diaries go I might consider taking the trip over there and getting them removed save myself some money and vacay in Greece a bit.

I got my frames removed through my Kaiser HMO plan, no fuss from them about it being the result of a cosmetic procedure. Cost me $150 because I had the platinum plan through my work insurance.

Would insurance cover you if are left with some deformity after LL? (Like x-leg correction which was caused BECAUSE of CLL)
