ILIOTIBIAL BAND RELEASE on the Femurs with Stryde?

Hey All,

I was wondering if anyone that has done CLL on their Femurs with Stryde that required a ILIOTIBIAL BAND RELEASE? 

Is ILIOTIBIAL BAND RELEASE dangerous in the long run?

Can ILIOTIBIAL BAND RELEASE be avoid if you length up to 8cm?
