Health care index by country

Do you think we should take this in consideration when choosing the country for LL?

South Korea seems the best option considering this.

I don't think this makes a difference. America doesn't have the best public health in the world but has the best private health, for example. Japan doesn't have good CLL doctors.

Irrelevant. Different countries are good at different things.

Need a nose job? Go to South Korea
Dying of a heart attack? Europe will have you an Ambulance within 10 minutes
Need implants? Go to Turkey
Want hair transplants? Come to the UK
Need LL? Follow the advice of others on this website but IMO USA > India > Europe

You really think that India > Europe? Why?

I absolutely agree with you in principle. But I am not so sure what does "USA > India > Europe" mean?
I guess it is more likely about popularity or the number of CLL, which does not necessarily mean they are better than the other.  Obviously, USA is the most popular and perhaps the safest but it is super expensive.  Europe has some doctors too and the prices and the safety seem to vary big time.  It is so hard to make any general comment on Europe.  India is obvious all about the price.  Only Russia and Vietnam may provide the similar price as India does.  But the situation in India seems a little tricky and unreliable.  Many good outcomes and some unfortunate outcomes too.  So it is hard to say which country is better for CLL than other countries.  I can only say that USA is better than other places overall.  But there are some good doctors and hospitals here and there.  So just find the best choice for yourself considering what you want or care about.

You really think that India > Europe? Why?

Since this current forum has begun, I haven't seen a single bad diary about an Indian doctor in 2 years that i've been on here eventhough if you look, Indian diaries are the most common. Whereas with European diaries, there's been bad diaries about Dr Solomin & Kulesh in Russia, Dr Guichet, Dr Monegal and even more.. [Edit - As soon as you mention an Indian doctor, people will swarm like flies, telling you you're stupid and will become crippled but when you ask them to show you the evidence they tell you to go look at the old forum which is several years old]

It's simple, people are just ignorant and racist. They don't want to go to India for a surgery. If you live in America or Europe there's a 100% chance you've been to an Indian Dr who was educated in India, here in the UK and America 70% of the Drs you will see are Indian yet just because you have to travel to India, people want to say it's rubbish. Literally both the moderators on this website have had their surgery done with an Indian Doctor, in India. Also, you message any Indian Dr, he will give you the emails, numbers of past patients, you message these other Drs and they will send you nothing, they'll even charge you to ask them questions...

So, if that's not enough, once I have my surgery done, let's hope it helps others to finally start going to India and saving $70 000 for the exact same process.
