6'4 (192/194 cm) to 6'7 (200 cm)? Worth it?
« on: October 15, 2017, 05:44:35 PM »

I think i do actually have pretty short (not too short though) legs compared to a person of my height...And i was thinking if it is worth to do limb lenghtening in the future, also being 2 m tall is much cooler than a little over 1,9...
I'm 20 years old btw, is it possible that i may still be growing and that maybe in the next 1 or 2 years i will gain like from 1 to 3 cm? I don't have a lot of hair, i can't even actually grow a decent and noticable mustache, never managed to. I do have some long hair under my chin, didn't shave there for like 1 or 2 months and i'm getting a little under-chin beard, but the moustache is non noticable and there still isn't enough hair to connect my small underchin beard with my hair next to my ears...My puberty also really started at around 14/15 age...
At 13/14 years old i was around 186 cm tall.
Is there anybody with similar experience that could tell me if you grew in your early 20s? What are your thoughts guys?
Thanks for your time.

I think you should do a few surgeries first just to be safe. Doctors and experts can only do so much, you have to listen to your gut. It seems that height averages are growing at an exponential rate, unless you're an 11/10 in terms of looks like most of us, height, unfortunately is the easiest variable you can change. Girls see right through superficial attributes like personality, morality and intelligence

Best of luck bro, if you have any further questions feel free to not pm me

You have normal legs for your height, you dont have to believe me, go to a doc And measure your fémur length, tibia, etc. You Will see that you are normal for your height, you can do better things with tour money than this bs

That may be true.
I'm just wondering if i'm done or not growing in height...because judging by my tanner stage i don't look adult.
I read that exercising physically increases the growth ormone production, aswell as getting enough sleep. But on the other hand i read that testosterone makes growth plates close quicker, and physical activities do actually increase testosterone from what i know...so who knows. These probably stupid phobias keep annoying me...

So these operations are really that risky? For example, even lenghtening like 4 cm will still be a risky operation to be able to walk perfectly again?

Doing leg lengthening  just for proportion reasons is not worth it in my opinion. You're already at a tall height, so wasting time and money on this is not going to give you anything.

If you are unhappy with your stature you should think about doing LL. everything is relative,to me a 6"0 men is short ,but to majority of people, especially here, a 6'0 tall man is like Robert Wadlow. Everything relies of some  point of view , and your point of view is the more important , so if you are unhappy  , do it. Maybe can be a challenge to find some doctor who will accept you, but who seeks something usually gets it. Hatters and trolls now can rage me and attack me I won't reply a crap.

I wouldn't chase numbers. Setting a goal post like 2m isn't logical.

Going from short to average, average to above average, average to tall... These I think are big changes that are worth exploring. Going from tall to giant, well, that's up to you if that's what you want, but that's a height that might get you unwanted attention. You won't be ridiculed like if you were short, but you'll get all the tall jokes, and some women might even turn you down because you're too tall. And good luck traveling, seats are tight enough, and some countries like Asia aren't built with giants in mind.

But hey, it's your body. If you've got the money and time, go for it. Having your diary added to the patient experiences section will be valuable data for us, and a guaranteed interesting read. Good luck on your decision.

I wonder why people answer to topics like these.
The one who starts it is clearly a troll (most probably) or a lunatic. In both cases it is really stupid to answer and feed him.
