Hypothyroidism and Limb Lengthening ?
« on: August 16, 2018, 09:47:15 PM »

Hey everyone, it's been a long minute since I have posted here and I have a question about LL and hypothyroidism. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism back in 2014, and take medication daily for it. I am wondering if hypothyroidism would bar me from having limb lengthening surgery or would I still be able to have it ?

Thanks!

if you are on treatment for hypothyroidism and your tsh/free t3/t4 levels are in normal range with the medication, it will not effect your ability to have LL.
