I am thinking of doing LL but I am confused that which doctor to choose. Please help me my budget is very low i.e around $15000-$20000. I have worked really hard for around 4 years to collect this much money and it means alot to me please I am unable to make a choice. I am thinking of going with some Indian doctor like sringari,sarin or parihar as they fit in my budget. But I haven't seen any diary of parihar's patient and his hospital looks awful and unhygienic. So I am confused between sringari and sarin. Can anyone provide me their contact details like email id or phone number so that I can contct them directly. Looking forward for your suggestions......

Do you really want to go with those Indian Doctors?  Then read this.  Prepare extra money and time for follow up to deal with complications after you return home.  The two doctors you are considering are half way there and their service will be "okay okay".  They think they can do it all and promise alot, but they can't deliver.

I think you should consider the Russia Doctors, they are quite experienced and their medical skill is respected.

You can consider Dr.Mitkovic or the russian doctors listed on the doctors list.

Dr Parihar's private hospital may not look the best, but he performs many surgeries there and I'm sure he would use a good degree of sterilization in his OT to minimize the chance of infection. If it really bothers you, Dr Parihar will also perform surgeries at a separate hospital in Mumbai, but that option costs $5,000 extra in professional fees last I checked.

You should figure though that you will only be in the hospital for about a week, the rest of the time you would stay in a hotel. It's more important that your surgery be done correctly than how nice the hospital looks. Dr Parihar is considered to be the top expert in Ilizarov surgeries in India and was even recommended by Dr Paley when my friend in India asked him where he should go for CLL.

I'll take a hospital that doesn't look all that great if it means I won't have a screw popping out of my leg post op like what happened to Russianblues after returning from Sringari.

Of course if you did decide on Parihar you would likely need more than $20k anyway if you have bills back home you still have to pay for while in India. $20k would be cutting it really close.
