« on: August 08, 2017, 05:44:22 PM »

Hey guys i'm just curious here as a friend of mine is cobsidering LL Surgery when you increase in height does you BMI change because of the new/longer bone structure for example if someone is a 175cm man and goes to like 185cm will the new bone effect their body and genes i know it sounds stupid but think about it if there is new bone and it is longer surely the body must adjust to it aswell.

BMI is only a mathematical approximation to evaluate your nutrition. It does not work as well in bodybuilders and of course, it loses its meaning post LL surgery.
