In theory it should be 60%-40% ratio but I for example have pretty short femurs (38cm and 32cm tibias)

No one really pays attention so there aren't a lot of studies. Ideally 50/50, but 60(femurs)/40(tibias) is fine. Imm 50/50.

Nobody pays attention to human biomechanics and bone length so there aren't a lot of studies? You have to be kidding me. That's like saying 'We don't know how many bones there are in the body because nobody pays attention so there aren't a lot of studies'. Utter nonsense.

50/50 isn't 'ideal' and falls out of what is considered the normal range nor are the vast figures you have given so for the benefit of other users who may not know this information please stop spreading misinformation.

The femur is the longest bone in the body. There is NO constant femur / tibia ratio in humans and it varies considerably between women and men, different ethnic groups and countries, but DOES fall within a normal range. The ratio is normally expressed as Femur:Tibia, as Femurs are always naturally longer.

Normal human FL:TL is between 52:48 at one extreme (long tibiae) and 56:44 at the other (long femurs). Even with long tibiae, the femur is still the longer bone.
