Hey guys, this is Michael from Natural Height Growth .

I wanted to release some news on what I found out recently. This is probably going to shake the forum a little bit. I know this may not be the most appropriate place to but I wanted to tell you guys that the Russian researcher Alexander Teplyashin did in fact succeed in getting the regrown growth plate using stem cells and tissue engineering techniques to work out successfully. He was not joking and not exaggerating about those claims.

This means that we have an alternative to the usual bone pulling method. It will still require that the bones be initially be broken, but the recovery will be much faster, and the growth plates will work without too much pain since they will naturally expand. No metal implants required, as long as the cartilage tissue can withstand the weight/load. The limiting factor would actually be the stretchability of the muscles and ligaments around the bone.

Hi Michael, i did my LL surgery in Moscow this year, with a Dr named Bagirov. His clinic for sure did not offer this technique and seemingly did not have the knowledge abut how this technique is performed.

I have a hard time imagining this method is available in Moscow without any of the patients or nurses at the clinic where i was knowing about it, and i talked with them quite a lot.

its good that the method seems to work and exist, but i have strong doubts it is available for regular consumers, and how long would that take to become available? Also i imagine the costs being very high (much higher than regular LL)

we r hearing this since 2/3 years. now it is a stupid topic unless they acknowledge it. there is no treatment like this. if they are willing to invent something new it should be available for people at least update after interval. where it is. if you are promoting your blog that's a different thing. don't make fun of peoples emotion.

I really appreciate this post. Thank you very much for sharing. What the members of this forum need to realize is that it takes 5-15 years after such an invention takes place for it to make its way into medical procedures and even longer for it to become a cosmetic procedure.Ilizarov took about 30 years to be used cosmeticslly. But the fact that this stem cell technology now exists is indeed huge news worthy of sharing. Personally, I hope that this new technology will allow forearm and possibly finger lengthening to become a safe reality in the future, because, currently, these two types of lengthening are too difficult and risky with distraction osteogenesis.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully the price range of this method won't be out of reach for most of us. I can expect it to cost far more than CLL since it will entice millionaires who'd like to be taller without the trials & tribulations of standard CLL. The clinics who would offer this will have a constant stream of patients, even at a $100k+ range.

This is years away from cosmetic use anyway tho.

Don't get your hopes up for this. Stemcells has been here for ages. I don't think stemcells will be a casual surgery in this (my) life. Maybe in the next 100+ years.

From the study it doesn't seem like this is really an alternative to leg lengthening. You will still be limited in lengthening because of soft tissues so I think you will still get complications like equinus contracture and other complications like compartment syndrome. Also what happens if the stem cells don't work? To me this just looks like you will pay much much more for same result as cosmetic lengthening.

Other kinds of bone lengthening besides just leg lengthening would be possible through stem cells. For those of us who are super unlucky and are not ideally proportioned for leg lengthening, but still want to be taller, stem cell therapy could potentially be a huge win.
