I would say 4.5 months for 6-7 cm you can be walking normally without support well enough for everyday life and going to work, but not for long distances without tiring.  I did 5.3 cm and its been a little over 3 months post op and I'm able to take small steps and walk short distances with normal posture.

Did internal femurs using the PRECICE2 with Dr. Donghoon Lee in South Korea on December 27th, 2013, went from 5'7.5" to 5'9.6".  Will probably end up doing tibias in about a year with Dr. Birkholtz to get to 5'11".

If you don't care about duck ass or your posture, I would say 3-3.5 months depending on your speed of callus formation you can START to walk on crutches.  However, in the beginning it will be difficult to walk with them and you won't able to use them in public most likely.  To get around with them effectively it'll probably take another 3 weeks or so.
