IS the precise nail dangerous
« on: December 07, 2016, 01:41:38 PM »

Hi guys hope you're doing well . I have planned to do my femurs with guichet ( 4,5 ) and then my tibs with mahboubian ( with the precise tech) I think not sure . But i'm wondering if the precise nail is a danger for our bones or cells cause of the magnetism . Maybe it could create a bone cancer I don't know ( yes i'm talking about cancer again but guys it's important ) . What do you think about that ?

it will not cause cancer, there is no any verified studies that LL will cause cancer. Maybe the Xray if you do it more than a once in a week for a whole year. Many athletes and people in general put screw inside their leg and they died peacefully, so Worry about how risky is the surgery not something not gonna happen, Good luck

I always wonder what will happen when someone who had LL hits 55+.

Current height - 168.5 cm: 5'6.5
Goal - 180 cm: 5'11
*2 segments (femurs-6.5 cm) + (tibia-5 cm)=11.5 cm: 4.5''

It's true. There are no long term studies. Perhaps people who did LL will have cancer in some years. We don't know really

Probably similar to people who had broken bones in the past.

But it depends how much you lengthened.

High chances of osteoporosis and painful joints (arthritis)? Wonder what the marginal difference would be compared to people in their late 50's and 60's who hadn't had LL. Maybe something horrible can happen as well.. who knows. About the lengthening, suppose the individual lengthened safely with regards to each segment 5 tibia and 6 femur but would that still be a problem simply because the total lengthening i.e. 11 cm is just too much even though per segment wise the lengthening was safe?

I guess osteoporosis and painful joints are unavoidable for LLers
The less the better always. I think 7 is better than 5 + 6
