Armspan in relation to heighr
« on: November 01, 2016, 01:27:13 PM »

Hey I've been thinking lately are my arms short
I wanted to lengthen to 6'0 when I'm older I don't think I'll grow much more
I'm 5'10 height
Armspan 5'7    Inseam (floor to inside of leg) 33.5inch

Would I look strange if I got LL
I'm also 15 and was wondering if my Armspan would grow anymore?
Any answers are appreciated

Sorry my mistake I have a 5'8 armspan

Maybe you will, most likely. You are 5'10. You face no disadvantages, move on and forget about this surgery.

Finishing school before doing surgery. Most likely to just do tibias to become at least 170cm.

Arms generally grow after

Wrist growth plates are first one to fuse.

Shoulders may increase in width, but that only would increase your wingspan which is not equal to arm length.

Only your shoulders are gaining width later on, but your hands mostly stay the way they were after puberty.

You are 15, there is a big chance you will still grow at least a bit so don't worry, you are 5'10 anyway.

I dont believe that your inseam is so high, if you measured it right, you should increase your height in 3 inches yet.

When did we start talking so casually about arm lengthening? No one does this kind of thing unless you lengthened 20cm on your lower limbs.

This kid is also 15 years old @ 5'10". The hell are you doing here you flaming donkey, theres nothing wrong with you.

To the OP:

1) Find out if your growth plates have fused or not first
2) If they haven't, ask your doctor what you can do to grow the extra 2 inches you seek. Lots of stuff helps if your epiphyseal plates haven't closed, and 2 inches is not a lot

Consider CLL down the road if you don't reach your desired height by natural means first. While I don't judge others for desiring to grow taller at any height, really, you have a really good starting height and a probability of getting there naturally.

Good luck

I agree with LL capatain. Unless you lengthen a insane amount and have praying mantis arms like apotheosis you won't need to worry about your arms. And only someone with money and a lot of time on their hands like that bitch would be able to get that far.

Iamready is currently doing arm lengthening after having done both femur and tibia. He has become our new role model.
