Walking after surgery
« on: September 19, 2016, 08:32:21 AM »

I have a somewhat okay height of 174 cm. I had been thinking whether to do 4 or 5 cm. Is it possible to start walking in 4 months after doing 4 cm lengthening.

I read that you can walk right from the next day with Guichet nail.

If we're talking about external tibia, it's very unlikely.

In theory is possible, just if you do .75 mm per day.

Another possibility is that you complete the lengthening at 1mm per day and complete lengthening quickly, within 50 days. Then have Stem Cell therapy coupled with PRP, then I think 6 months is very likely. As your goal is 4 cm, the risk of getting ballerina at 1mm per day is also less.

Yeah I heard ballerina really started after 5 cm. I have used PRP for my hair, I wonder how it would be like for bone recovery.

Ballerina start after 3.5 cm if you didn't exercise and after 5 cm even with exercise
