If I were to do internal femurs with Precice 2 with Dr. Parihar:
1. What would be a reasonable estimate of recovery time?
2. Is 6 cms lengthening of the femurs within the 'safe limit'?

Some possibly useful information : I'm 55 kgs, 21 years old.

Depends on what kind of recovery we are talking about.

You mean basic thing like walking to work or jogging, weight lifting etc.

OldieButGoldie was running pretty ok after 1 year post op.

But recovery time and amount the amount of athletic ability you will get back depends a lot on specific patient. Age, how hard you will rehab etc.

For internals you will need more than 2.5 years for complete recovery if you include nail removal. You won't be entirely fine before nail removal. LLCaptain is right. If you have complications you will need even more time.

So I take it that recovery for internals is longer than externals
