Is it true that all growth stops in a male human body at 21? I know that Dennis Rodman hit this crazy growth spurt at 20 so maybe there is definitive growth still possible before 21? And did anyone in this forum grow from 20-21? Im in my last teen year trying to save myself from getting LL and im currently 5'5 wanting to reach 5'8+. Another question i wanted to ask, does anybody think that LL will be the only option to grow taller, forever?

I grew to my pre CLL height when I was 16, unfortunately I stopped growing after that. I blame excessive body  building

I've been the same height ever since I was 18 or so. (5'6.5)

I wouldn't count on any growth at 20. Just save up that $$$ like me for LL. You shouldn't wait too long for LL alternatives as recovery will be worse as you age past your early 20s based on the reading I've done on the forum.

My father is 6'3, mother is 5'9, and I'm a staggering 5'7. The shortest of all my male relatives (on both sides) is 6'0.
I was always tall for my age until I got sick at the age of 12 and put on medication. I never grew again.
Personally, I believe either the illness or medication stunted my growth, but at 5'7 I'm still within a normal height range so I can't be certain.It's quite possible I just came out shorter.

Although I've heard men grow until the age of 21, I actually don't know of anyone who grew past 17/18.
While I'm sure will eventually be some type of medication/injection that will increase height, it's probably well into the future.

@whereintheworld

it sounds like that medication stunted you bro. Theres no way you should have stopped growing at 12. I didnt even come close to starting puberty at 12.  Thats impossible lol. 5'7 is not bad however you could easily hit 5'10 or 6 with LL. I hope i can hit 5'7 before i turn 21. My growth plates arent 100% fused ive seen my wrist on a x ray and it was slightly open so i hope theres other bones still growing in my body we'll see. Good luck if you ever get LL man

damn bro you must of hit puberty early. Maybe around 8? Damn thats an early age to stop growing. Most males and even females on average stop at 16 in the very least. It really shows how height is different for everybody. Not one person grows the same as the other.

I agree with you man. Some people do grow in early 20s but its in the air if i will or not because i started puberty at 15/16. Saving up is the best option though your right. If i had the money to do it at 21 knowing i cant grow no more i most deff would. I will have enough money saved by then since im 19 now. Hopefully 50k or more. Having LL wrapped up and walking back in full health by lets say 23 or 24 would be a blessing. If one were to get the height surgery at 21 thats ideal imo. If i hit Powerball or Mega Millions before i turn 21, im going with Dr Paley in the usa because that dude is a beast. I would certainly be on this forum if i do go with Paley, but i'd have to win the lotto for that one lol.

My voice changed at age of 10 if it matters.

As i said i stopped growing at age of 12 out of nowhere but since i was pretty tall as a kid(almost always in 50-70 percentage of total male height) nobody would really give a damn about it.

One thing i know about height growth and puberty in general is that your body begins growing at a stage where your healthy and absorbing your best or at the least adequate amounts of nutrition. So in those ages before 12 you were most likely eating, sleeping well etc. That could be why you stopped growing at 12. Your body most likely took advantage of the environmental conditions you were in. I have always had intestinal problems, and i still dont know why i get these pains after i eat, i believe its because of gluten or i might have crohns. Its been bothering me all my life and i feel it has to do with why i didnt grow that much. But at one point when i was in remission, and i was getting somewhat of a nutrition that would naturally help me grow, i hit a growth spurt in the time that i didnt even get one episode of intestinal pain or a flare up. I grew around 4 inches maybe from 15-16? I remember being 5'0 or 5'1 then being 5'4 shortly after.  That was when my puberty started. Never grew anything significant after that even while my growth plates were open. Till this day i know i didnt grow because i didnt continue that routine i had going when i grew. Blows man. But im not 20 yet, i still have hope. I know all growth ceases at 20 in males. 7 months to go. Thats enough time go get 2+ inches. I personally think i have only one year from now to grow as much as i can. Hopefully its 3 or more inches. My parents are under 5'5 and im 5'5 ish but my brother is 5'8+. He hit puberty early and i didnt. Human growth is literally unpredictable
