Years down the road
« on: June 04, 2016, 06:19:12 PM »

Is it safe to say that if you are free of complication that a few years down the road both the soft tissue and bone will act as if they were normally the post distraction length?

From my understanding, the new bone is just as good and strong, but I think there is some permanent stretching of the soft tissue even if you don't have any visible effects such as contractures

Wouldn't the soft tissue create micro tears during the lengthening and heal back longer?
