One year of PT pre-op
« on: May 10, 2016, 02:53:57 PM »

Hey everyone,

So I am planning to have the procedure done with Paley next may. I have already visited his facility and I will be scheduling my official consultation for sometime before the end of this month.

I am considering doing a full year of PT to get my body as flexible/prepared as possible. Any opinions/recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Do yoga man, it helps with everything. More importantly, while you're in the process of LL don't neglect your physio. It sucks and it's painful but it's absolutely necessary

I'm starting law school this fall so if I have time for yoga as well as PT I will join a yoga class as well. I feel like a personalized PT program beforehand will d wonders for my recover as I can push my flexibility to an entirely new level which will hopefully offset the loss in flexibility from the surgery and improve recover and overall quality of life post op.
