the rubber band analogy
« on: November 26, 2015, 06:25:59 PM »

A lot of people are mentioning the rubber band analogy for muscles.

If you stretch it beyond a limit, it just loses its strength.

It makes sense, but even if you "slightly" stretch a rubber band and hold it like for a long time, it will still lose strength after a while.

It makes me question if there is a safe limit for lengthening. Thoughts?
