This is for my own general interest, I have not had LL before as of this thread.

I wanna compile a list of all the differences between the two, here are ones I can come off the top of my head, please suggest more. For the sake of simplicity assume the two people are adult males and the same height (post op). I will refer to natural tall people as "natty's".

the natty has longer arms (unless the LLer lengthened his arms as well, but that's rare)
the natty has longer fingers
the natty has longer toes
the natty most likely has a longer neck
the natty most likely has bigger feet(?)
the LLer most likely has reduced muscle strength (varying depending on how much was lengthened and exercise)
the LLer most likely has had a huge self-esteem boost postop (based on journals on both LL forums)

It is a statistically proven fact that shorter people tend to live longer than taller people. Do LLer's gain the generally shorter lifespan of taller people from LL? What are other differences that these two men would have?

Lol at "nattys".

Taller men are proportionally bigger in every way, of course there are overlaps but statistically a taller man is also bigger in every dimension.

nattys won't appreciate and saviour their height as much as LLer would do :)

so they have bigger muscles? Bigger heads? Bigger hips? What are the consequences of being an LL tall person without having the bigger everything else?

agreed  ;D

If I remember correctly, the reason why taller people live shorter lives is because there's more of their body to screw up. For example, if they have more flesh, they have more opportunities to develop cancer. Since their heart works harder to pump blood to the rest of their body, they have increased heart risk. So I don't think an LL will have longer lifespans. In my opinion, doing LL shortens your lifespan.

I don't think it would matter much if you did less than 2.5 or 3 inches. The only thing I'm worried about is my femur:tibia proportions, and my 3 inch longer femurs pointing out when I sit.

But if you want to do a freaky 5 or 6 inches.. you'll have significantly longer legs and shorter arms.

Interesting that the largest head is on someone around 173ish cm, and the smallest on someone around 183ish cm, especially considering it measures people all the way up to 200cm.
