some people add 3-4 cm to her height when they are on a dating site internet or they say to others and do you guys think that apply to models like adriana lima irina shayk melissa satta and the soccer players like messi CRonnie7 neymar because my friend saw soccer players like ramires neymar and he said they are smaller than it stands on the internet for example he said ramires is short under 170 cm ?

Tons of them. Off the top of my head is cruise, who claimed he was 5'9". He's actually 5'7".

It's not all lying, so many people overestimate their height so it bias others perceptions of their own height. A lot of people don't measure themselves but approximate their height based on what others say they are. The cycle goes on and on.

The height you feel like is probably more important than the height you are. I highly doubt that a lot of people would notice the difference between your actual height and the height you feel like. If you feel 1 inch taller than you actually are, no one will notice it and that way you'll kinda boost your self esteem by thinking that you are taller.
A good friend of mine often implies that we are the same height eventhough he is noticably shorter. He always says he's 180 even If his actucal height is probably around 176.

He generally tends to overestimate himself due to his high self confidence, even If it sounds stupid but this attitude may have saved a lot of people from the neurotic behavior a lot of us have about height (in exact numbers.)
It just came to my mind after reading g-man's comment.

obviously depends on the country, In england the bare minimum of players are 5'10 ish. While in spain barcelona it can go as low as 5'6 on average. Also if you look foreign then your height is more justified, then if you are fair skinned and "whiteish" features.

At the last world cup Baines, Lallana, Wilshere, Sterling and Milner are all listed below 5'10... (Walcott is also under 5'10, as is Ashley Cole).

Listed player heights are often used as a guide rather than an absolute. Some are pretty much spot on, others are hilariously listed, like over a two inch discrepancy. Craig Bellamy for example is listed at 175cm, but refers to himself in his autobiography as 5'6. It's also pretty weird to see height reports of two team mates standing next to each other, Marcelo is listed at 172cm and Modric at 174cm, but every photo of the pair together proves Marcelo is the taller one.

There is no chance Ramires is under 170cm! 180cm seems a better estimate. Neymar and Messi are a cm shorter than reported according to Celeb Heights.

Donald Trump claims 6'3 (190.5CM) but he is not much taller than 173CM 5'8 Ted Cruz!

Barely 5'11 or 180CM, if even that tall, meaning he exaggerates his height by over 10CM if the picture is accurate. His arms look really short in the U.S. Republican debates, so I think he may wear lifts.

Sorry but that's not a 7 inch 17CM difference.

Good point. The arm length is a big giveaway that suggests Cruz might have lifts tucked in his shoes.

I also think Trunp has shrunk a LOT with old age because he looks much taller and not as stumpy in younger pictures.

Here he is a year ago with 6'1/185CM Mark Sanchez, so I think Trump is 5'11 now:

Crazy how a ton of politicians wear lifts, but it makes a lot of sense. I saw a speech where Barack Obama shook hands with Bill Clinton and Obama was clearly taller. Clinton is 6'2.5...

Still no way Trump is 6'3 as he claims and is listed as, because in the debates next to 6'3 Jeb Bush, he is clearly much shorter.

Yeah because it's very superficial. Now a days the campaigns are more focused on the candidate themselves rather then the issue advocacy. It's sad really but meh, what can you do about it.

Arnold Schwarzenegger claims he is 188, my dad stood next to him and he was much shorter however. My dad is around 190, Schwarzenegger is more like 180.
