MDOW said the patients with thick muscles in the Beijing clinic seemed to have a more painful time distracting than others. Some doctors say having a lot of leg muscle is bad for this reason, though I have spoken to some who think muscle is a good thing because it will cause more blood flow to the area during lengthening and should help with healing. So, mixed opinions on whether thick legs are good or bad for lengthening, but I think it's just about universally agreed that being flexible is a good thing and constant stretching will be beneficial.

If your doc has applied a stable frame and is responsive in correcting misalignments when they happen, there's no reason you should have bent legs after surgery unless you take the frames off too early and the regenerate is still soft.

Your legs are not short. It's all in your mind.
They are as proportionate as everyone else's who are equal tall as you are.

They might look short if you are very muscular. Picture, or it didn't happen.....

I used to have really strong legs pre surgery, and I think this helped me, because lot of the stretch my legs underwent have been at level of muscle instead of tendons.
