What's up everyone! to everyone who has has undergone LL:
Remember when you finally saved up/gathered all of your funds and documents you needed to get your life changing dream surgery? The slight feelings of euphoria, elation beyond words knowing that your future height would smash all of your old rotting insecurities, bleak height related depression, and downright disgusting biases other people had of you because of your randomly chosen height. You were headed to the promised land where new beginnings would start afresh.......however....as a condition before receiving the surgery, you were told, nay, demanded to first be assessed by a psychiatrist to ensure you were not some bat crazy person who thought the world was plotting against him because he was shorter
. The questions I pose to you all is:
1. which doc you had LL with, name of psychiatrist who evaluated you
2. What were some of the questions they asked you (very important)
3. We're you currently taking medication at the time or had you in the past? (I ask this because I've been taking anti-depressants for 8 years now and am afraid it may compromise me as an ideal LL candidate)
4. Did the psychiatrist clear you for surgery? And if not what do you think caused the psychiatrist to deem you unfit for surgery.
Thank you for your time everyone.
