is 5cm noticeable
« on: July 29, 2015, 10:09:46 PM »

I don't want to go through this and come through on the otherside that it barely made any difference, is 5cm worthwhile?

5 cm is noticeable but if you are 5ยด3 you should aim for more lengthening or nothing is going to change

I'm 5'2 and aiming for 7-8 cms. I urge you to aim for more since you're already doing this surgery.
But don't force it if your doctor refuses to lengthen more.

It depends. If you are 5'2 and you go for 3cm, that is like 5'35 and there is really not that much value in it.

On the other side, I am personally as of now 5'10 and I am aiming for 6 or at the very max 7 cm, which will be really really noticable. I will basically move from the 50th percentile to the 85th or sth like that.

Yes  :) I will get as much as I can, but just incase over 5cm is not possible for me, I wanted to know if it would be worth it, if for some reason my limit is 5cm.

That's very much possible. With Precice most doctors go around 3 inches. I don't know about externals.. wish you luck, hope your doctor lets you attain your dream height!

5cm is noticeable.  It's two whole inches!  There's a big difference between 5'3 and 5'5 even if both are technically shorter than average.

Definitely, but once the vault is open you take as much cash as you can, as long as you can carry it.

On that note, is 5CM noticeable proportionally, in your opinions?

if u do 5cm or less, u will never look out of proportion to anyone that doesnt know u did the surgery... only u may notice because its in ur head that u r 5cm taller than u were naturally..

Yes obviously the shorter the original starting height the greater the percentage of lengthening will be on your body compared to someone with a taller starting height.

I personally think upto 3 inches won't make anyone wonder if you have stilts in your pants.
"Just one!" you can say, if they ask anyway.

5 cm isn't irrelevant I did 8 and literally everyone noticed, so 3 cm less would still definitely be relevant.
