New here
« on: June 27, 2015, 04:19:27 PM »

Hello i am new here and i will list some things about myself. In the morning i am usually 5'11.5 and on a good night of sleep i will grow to about 182.5 cm. At night, i will be 5'10 1/4. I have scoliosis (7 degress) and the last time i got measured officially by a doctor was at 180.5 cm, with the 7 degrees diagnosis. My father used to be 188 cm now he is 184 cm at night and my mother is 5'7. Here is the thing, i am 20 and my growth plates are still open and i want to take full advantage of that, i feel i have a lot of growing to do, legs are done at 33 inseam, but my spine has a lot of potential and i want to seize that opportunity, so where do i start and how do i get to 188 cm. Help me through experience! At the moment i am 163 pounds, 29.5 waist, 33 inseam (long legs for my running) and a size 10.5 shoe. For exercise i run on a daily basis.

You probably won´t grow more than 1cm at the age of 20, I think it will be even less. Most people don´t grow at all that age, If you are curious about the height you´ll reach after everything is fussed just get your growth plates x-rayed. The Dr. will be able to tell you about any further growth.
Perhaps strechting and a good posture might be benefical, although I don´t know how this is affected by scoliosis.

7 degreees scoliosis that's barely a scoliosis...i don't t think you're going to gain anything at 20 years old you're like 178.5 cm at night, hoping 10 cm more seems to be delusional.
Which luck and doing daily stetching routine  you might to reach 180
But i repeat, at 20 years old ; 95 % to 100 % of men are done with their growth.I m studyng at university where guys are between 18  and 23 years old, i havn't seen a guy growing taller past 20 years, quite a few have gained a substanable amount between 18 and 20 though

Read about the stages of puberty. If you've hit all those stages, you are likely finished.

If what you're wondering is "should you take human growth hormone" to gain added height before your plates close (if they're still open), you'd have an impossible time of convincing any doctor to give you that stuff at your existing height and with existing scoliosis.

You're tall. You don't do anything. You just go live your life and keep being tall.

If you're asking for HGH or LL surgery:

Are you serious? I don't understand why a tall person would risk so much for a few inches. "Oh my god I'm 6'7 and my dream is to be 6'10" Yes, you must be suffering so much. Poor dear.

Most men would kill to be your height.

Considering LL in 2016. Will have a detailed diary at the time.

Growth hormone won't work this late in the game.
