Clothes

Seems to be very little information on how much clothing to bring on your 3 month journey for LL.

I was thinking all you need is just 2 shorts for lengthening, and then when you need to go outside for x-ray you wear trousers, so with that being said I think you can go on the airport with trousers on, and not bring any extra pairs.

would you even need more than 2 pair of socks, practially every picture of LL i have seen i have never seen the person wear socks much if even at all.

so my guess is, what to bring with me in my rucksack would be.

2x shorts
2x socks
5x boxers
3x shirts

does that seem like enough, with this I will only have one pair of trousers, but after operation i can only see myself getting use out of them only when outside to get x-ray as i said, and of course when returning home in a wheelchair.

Also, any recommendation on a pair of very baggy/roomy trousers that will keep infections out and hide frames while in the airport, I don't want to just buy XXL general trousers.

I don't know if your doc will make you wear sandals strapped to the frame in order to keep the feet neutral, but if he will then you'll want a whole pack of socks that you can switch throughout the week before you have them washed. Sandals burned the bottom of my feet a lot more when I wasn't wearing socks.

I also brought a lot of stretchy gym shorts. I think it was around 6 or 7. Few packs of briefs and lots of shirts, too.

i will be using external ilazarov if that makes any difference.

I guess I'll upgrade to 7x pairs of socks then, I dont know how often the maid will wash my closhes, can only assume once a week.

yes i was going to bring cotton gym shorts of sorts, those are the ones i wear around the house anyway, I don't think i'd need more than 4 if i get weekly washing, but ill bump my numbers up some more i guess sometimes the washing never got put on.

3x shorts
5x socks
7x boxers
4x shirts

I still think i'd only need 1 trousers, since ill hardly use them, did you use much trousers at all while lengthening.

Wouldn't 3 in 1 cargo pants be the best option to bring with you for when you go outside during the legnthening phase.

they can go from full length, to knee lenght and then to shorts.
