and grow just a bit more. I would be ok with being 5'7, I guess most of you guys would be fine with 5'10 or 5'11.

Thoughts on possibilities? I don't mean a magic pill, probably some micro fractures in the bones that could reopene both long and small bones to get bigger through HGH and proportionate.

LWM, I think you have to come to terms that you will always be on the short side, even with CLL.

Once you accept that fact, then you can put everything into perspective (height does not = life. Admittedly, for a while I thought it did, but not anymore).

All people have to accept difficult realizations, that's just how it is.

Look at what you can do to improve yourself and your life, not what you can't (open growth plates); not just in terms of increasing your height through CLL, but also by working on other aspects of your life like fitness, friends, and not spending too much time feeling sorry for yourself.

I know my last comment sounded harsh, but the fact is that people like people who don't sit there feeling sorry about themselves all the time (another thing I've slowly realized)

I can't promise you, but I have a hunch that a short guy who takes care of body and mind (lifting weights, eating healthy, doing cardio, meditating, sleeping well), works on his social skills, and tries to excel in other aspects of life like school and work, will be happier than a 6' 1" dude who's a bum and does nothing with his life. Be the achiever and be positive my friend.

It is quite possible that implantation of syntethical growth plates will be possible in 20-30 years.

If you were to do 2 surgies (7-8cm femur, 5-6cm tibia) you can stand ~5'6, 5'7 with the right sneakers. Honesty for everyday life 2 inch insole lifts are too uncomfortable, 1 inch is fine and 1.5 is bearable. With that plus sneakers you can stand ~5'8-5'9. Thats a whole different point of view from your old height. Your height neurosis will be gone and you'll be 4-5 inches taller than the average female.

If this was possible then all it would do I put you right back where you started. All other short guys would look to add 5 inches to their height. LL being difficult I what gives the advantage as most people struggle to save the cash, take time off, deal with the pain etc so they don't do it.
