Hopefully I can get away with an extra 3CM, that's all I need anyway.

you have longer arms so 3cm on you would probably just about be ok, youll have to see while your lengthening it. also look into percentiles thoroughly and take measurements before doing it. although to me it sounds like you could get away with 6foot1 without arm lengthening, and clavicle lengthening is there if you want better shoulders for your new height.

Where can I find percentages on humerus and forearm length?

I think one important reason that my dad has longer arms than me is because his hands are bigger.

Alright so it seems like the difference between the 95th percentile and the 50th is about 2-3CM like you said. Normal seems to be 37-38CM and only 5% has a humerus length of 41CM or more. Guess 41CM should be the limit?

Thanks for the info mate we need guys like you on the forum, hope you stick around.

http://www.scielo.org.za/scielo.php?pid=S0038-23532008000200010&script=sci_arttext

humerus to radius ratio (MEN) :        100%  :  74.074%              (ie. the radius is 74.074% the size of the humerus for men)
humerus to radius ratio (WOMEN):    100%  :  73.088%              (ie. the radius is 73.088% the size of the humerus for women)

humerus to ulna ratio (MEN) :        100%  :   79.271 %               (ie. the ulna is 79.271% the size of the humerus for men)
humerus to ulna ratio (WOMEN):    100%  :   78.536%                (ie. the ulna is 78.536% the size of the humerus for women)

--------------------------------------------------------------

it would appear that men have a relatively shorter humerus compared to women from this study. but its only 1% difference.

ie if men and women in this study had the same size humerus the male's ulna would be 0.24cm longer. its really a tiny difference.

I don't think we need to worry about this issue between men and women.
