if I gained 8 cm on my tibia, will my height be 8 cm taller?
I know this sounds counter-intuitive. but apo did like 11 cm on tibia and got only 9 cm... (unless 11 cm was the spreadsheet figure, and not the radiographical amount)
so if you gain "x" cm in the tibia, what is the expected height gain, if there is no bowlegs?
tho I know for femur you always lose some height due to the angulation

Yes, if you gain it on tibiae (according to x-rays) you've gained it all. Never trust spreadsheet figures due to pin bending / compression / etc.

My Russian doc insists CT scans are more accurate? For bone length & alignment.
He says standing XR are outdated?

Yes, CT scans are more accurate. However, X-rays get the job done.

yup my Singapore doc scheduled me for an EOS imaging (standing X-ray machine, a pretty new technology though). But dr fahri said no need, come to Russia, for CT scan.

Am I right to say that since a CT is 3-D, it can capture the lengths more accurately?
